Heroes of '76
From Kook Science
The Heroes of '76 is an affiliate auxiliary organisation and American patriotic side degree of the National Sojourners, a Military-Masonic Order, which was composed by E. B. Jones, a Past Grand Master of the Masonic Grand Lodge of Kentucky, in 1876. The name refers to 1776, the year that the United States Declaration of Independence was first adopted by the Second Continental Congress and the initiation of the American Revolutionary War against Great Britain was begun, and the Spirit of '76 that draws from the revolutionary figures and their sentiments as expressed in those days.
