Goatman (or Goat-Man, if one prefers) is a generic name for a variety of regional folkloric creatures that are described as having combined traits of a goat and a human being, often with the head, legs, and hooved feet of the goat and the torso of the human being. In the United States of America, examples of the goatman figure in local folklore include:
- The Pope Lick Monster of Louisville, Kentucky;
- The Lake Worth Monster of Lake Worth, Texas;
- The Goatman of Hogsback Road in Wisconsin;
- The Goatman of Beltsville, Maryland.
