Thomas Mozette, also known (in California) as Francis Cook, was a clairvoyant and medium for hire who was repeatedly prosecuted for fraud and larceny in various American jurisdictions, most famously in Boston (and Cambridge), Massachusetts, where his case was tied to a political scandal that saw Nathan A. Tufts, District Attorney for Middlesex County, prosecuted for dereliction and relieved of his duties.
