"A miracle of intelligence, something that would release frozen money, something that would put courage into frightened best minds, start wheels turning and men working, is what the nation needs. But it takes two to make a miracle, one to perform the miracle, another to believe it. Some man might come along with a miracle-performing idea, a new invention that will restore the commerce and industry, but the difficulty probably would be lack of faith" . . . "Any one of the fifty inventors has produced more actual wealth than all the gold mines ever worked on earth."

and neither will this one. You do not have to take my word for that as one of the most valuable purposes of history is to remind you of this fact. Nor are they cured by legislation, no matter how good that legislation may be, but by the application of fresh knowledge, the development of new discoveries and the manufacture and distribution of inventions and appliances to meet the demands of a progressive people. This depression will respond to the same treatment as the others but by reason of its world-wide nature, it can only be overcome by a major discovery and invention which will supply new life to those industries and avenues of trade and commerce which are the foundations of our civilization and which will provide a new scientific lead for humanity to take hold of and further develop to fill present and future needs. As an example of this action of supply coming to meet the demand, there is no better in recent history than that of the invention of James Watt who gave the world an efficient steam engine at a time when Europe was staggering under a load of debt created by the Napoleonic Wars and when industry had reached stagnation point. Then, as today, the situation seemed hopeless but with the arrival of this contribution from a pioneer scientist, the threads of progress were taken up once again and a lengthy period of prosperous advancement followed. Since then lesser depressions have been cured by the invention of the combustion engine, the automobile, electric light and power, wireless, radio and others which have kept capital active and people employed, but these are insufficient in themselves to meet the present situation and the crisis we are facing today is the NECESSITY WHICH IS DEMANDING THE DEMONSTRATION OF A MODERN MIRACLE and which is lacking only the support which FAITH alone can bring.

A New Science or Concept

of Physics and an Invention

As the result of a lifetime devoted to research, experimentation and development, I have this to offer as a cure for the depression and as @ foundation of progress for future generations: THE DEMONSTRATION OF A CO-MOTIONAL MOTION MACHINE WHICH WILL SHOW THE WORLD THE VALUE OF MY DISCOVERY — A POSITIVE GEOMETRY. In comparison, the Euclid geometry is used as both positive and negative at the same time while this geometry ts POSITIVE ONLY and RECOGNIZES NO NEGATIVE. The co-motional again is something beyond co-ordinative — a new term that describes and applies to one branch of this geometry.

PERPETUAL MOTION?? NO!!! FOUR CO-ORDINATING MECHANICAL PRINCIPLES WITHOUT THE OPPOSITION OF REACTION BUT WHICH MUST HAVE ENERGY FOR ITS MOTION.

Have all responded and there is no more experimenting to do. Each one does its work and I am now assembling a machine for demonstration purposes which, with your support, I can exhibit in the near future.

Science is not hampered by geographical boundaries and I have learned that people with faith are to be found in all countries and that these are the ones who enable the pioneer scientists to carry on their work until it reaches a stage where it offers visible security to investors and to the very practical ones who must see before they can believe or who must receive the assurance of an established authority that the thing in question is a physical possibility and of commercial value; but since there IS NO ESTABLISHED AUTHORITY FOR THAT WHICH IS NOT YET RECOGNIZED AND ESTABLISHED, I am entirely dependent upon that quality of faith which permits one to believe all things are possible and that there is a way to accomplish the "impossible." Conditions today can only be rectified by the demonstration of another "impossibility" and I am the only outside authority you can find on my own discovery and invention, but many have believed and supported me and their security rests in me and my integrity, the discovery and invention I am bringing into the world and in the demand for it. I HAVE BEEN INVESTIGATED BY BOTH FEDERAL AND STATE AUTHORITIES AND AM CONTINUING MY WORK IN SEATTLE, THE DISCOVERY IS MADE, THE SCIENCE COMPLETE AND TRUE, THE INVENTION PROVED AND NEARING COMPLETION AND THERE IS ABUNDANT EVIDENCE IN THE WORLD TODAY OF THE DEMAND FOR THAT WHICH I AM BRINGING OUT.

Is the outcome of successful enterprise and an expanding and healthy state of industry and commerce. When these fail there is no prosperity regardless of the amount of wealth stored away. Stagnation sets in and poverty in the midst of plenty is the result, THERE MUST BE PERIODICAL RELEASES OF NEW IDEAS AND KNOWLEDGE TO PRODUCE A GOOD CIRCULATION OF THE WEALTH AND THE ABUNDANCE AND TO PROVIDE AN OUTLET FOR THE ENERGY OF THE PEOPLE while the suppression of the ideas and discoveries lead to chaos and confusion. When Franklin gave the world the electric spark he unearthed a principle which made possible the invention and use of the generator, electric motor, light, telegraph, telephone, radio, wireless and other electrical devices too numerous to mention. Bell, Edison and Marconi developed various attributes of this discovery and others are now branching off in other directions. I HAVE A DIFFERENT KIND OF SPARK WHICH CONTAINS UNTOLD OF POSSIBILITIES FOR DEVELOPMENT BY THOSE WHO ARE EAGERLY AWAITING THE RAW MATERIAL WHICH MY DISCOVERY REPRESENTS.

Which has served as a foundation for mechanics up to the present but which is too limited for the demands now being made upon it. IT WILL NOT PERMIT THE NEW KNOWLEDGE AVAILABLE FOR THE BENEFIT OF MAN TO BE BROUGHT TO HIS AID; BUT THE TIME HAS COME TO REMOVE THIS MILLSTONE FROM AROUND OUR NECKS AND BREAK THROUGH THE LIMITATIONS WHICH ARE HOLDING UP PROGRESS AND PROSPERITY AND THIS CAN BE ACCOMPLISHED THROUGH THE APPLICATION OF THE POSITIVE GEOMETRY WHICH IS MY SCIENCE.

During the past fifty years we have come through a period of rapid transition which has necessitated adjustment after adjustment on the part of man to the machine and many people have come to look upon the machine as a robber, but it is absurd to stop in the middle of an evolutionary period and attempt to suppress that which will ultimately prove to be the best friend humanity has. A little more faith, a little more action based on that faith and we are over the hump to a stretch of smoother travelling which will lead to a new era. The world is idle. Together we can put it to work under far better conditions than previously existed. We do not have to take from the rich and give to the poor but we can give the poor the opportunity they are seeking to share in the abundance which is sufficient for all our needs. The invention is being developed on one side of the border — the majority of the support has come from my Canadian friends. BETWEEN US WE CAN GIVE THE WORLD A FRESH START WHICH WILL RAPIDLY GAIN MOMENTUM AND CARRY THE WHOLE WORLD FORWARD.
