Eugène Adolphe Osselin was a French optician and entrepreneur, a vendor of an array of different electrotherapeutic nostrums that purported to heal by application of galvanic electricity, including his Médaille Electro-Médicale de E. Osselin, as well as rings, bracelets, necklaces, belts, chains, hair pins, armbands, underwear, bandages, stockings, combs, soles, electro-magnetic plates, etc.[1]
