Edgewood Arsenal Research Laboratories

The Edgewood Arsenal Research Laboratories are a group of facilities at the United States Army's Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG), located near Aberdeen, Harford County, Maryland. Edgewood Arsenal has been noted as a testing site for a variety of chemical weapons, and for its "Medical Research Volunteer Program" (1956-1975), operating through their Medical Research Laboratories, which conducted human experiments of some 254 chemical substances on roughly 6720 American soldiers (see also: Project MKCHICKWIT).
