The Ecumenic Order of United Mechanics (E.O.U.M.) was an American fraternal society open exclusively to mechanics that maintained a short existence in San Francisco, California beginning in 1871 through at least 1874. Its local lodges were referred to as Shops, these having three degrees (Apprentice, Journeyman, and Master), under the jurisdiction of Senates.
