Deep Underground Military Base (DUMB)

Deep Underground Military Base (DUMB) is a catch-all term used in conspiracy culture to refer to any site that has been constructed underground for the use of the armed forces, including those intended for activation during periods of emergency as well as those argued to have active, clandestine purposes. Frequently the term DUMBs, plural, describes a complete network of national and international bases, each suggested to be of enormous size (comparable to cities), and interconnected by subterranean tunnels.
