D. Ransom, Son & Company was a patent medicine manufacturer and distributor, organised in 1864 by David Ransom at Buffalo, New York. In addition to producing Dr. Ransom's "King of the Blood," the company licensed and wholesaled a variety of other patent medicines, including Trask's Magnetic Ointment and Miller's Universal Balm.
