The Christian UFO Research Association (CHRUFORA) was a short-lived British ufology organisation, founded by Paul Inglesby in 1977, with the purpose of educating the public on the true nature of the UFO phenomena -- namely, that the UFOs are demoniacal forces and the field of Ufology generally has a corrupting influence on Christian thought. They were most noted for their campaign against the film Close Encounters of the Third Kind (1977).
Inglesby would later found the Christian UFO Concern, carrying out similar work.
