The Century of Progress International Exposition, or Chicago World's Fair of 1933-1934, was a World's Fair held at Burnham Park on the Lake Michigan waterfront in Chicago, Illinois, originally from 27 May through 12 November 1933, and again re-opening from 26 May through 31 October 1934, the event based around celebrations of the 100th anniversary of the city's founding.
