From Kook Science

A Protestant Adventist tendency, co-founded by Ellen G. White (1827-1915), a follower of William Miller (1782-1849). Adherents avow the essential belief in the imminence of the Second Advent (Second Coming) of Jesus Christ. The name is taken from its observance of Saturday as the seventh day of the week, this being the Sabbath (Shabbat).
