C. I. Hood & Co. was a Lowell, Massachusetts-based patent medicine manufacturer, founded by Charles Ira Hood, its namesake, in 1875. The company was sold in 1922, following Hood's death, to William R. Warner Co. and operations subsequently transferred to Warner manufacturing plants in New York and St. Louis, Missouri.[1]
