The Boston Society for Psychic Research was a Massachusetts-based parapsychology organisation, founded at Boston in 1925 by former members of the American Society for Psychical Research who were dissatisfied with the direction of the ASPR under the leadership of Frederick Edwards, and consequently broke away "in order to conduct psychic research according to strictly Scientific principles, thus maintaining the standards set by Hodgson and Hyslop."
