The Cotton States and International Exposition was a World's Fair held at Piedmont Park in Atlanta, Georgia from 18 September through 31 December 1895, the event intended to make a showcase of Atlanta and the American South generally. It featured exhibitions sponsored by 13 of the 45 American states.
