The Aryan Order of St. George of the Holy Roman Empire in the Colonies of America was (or is) an American-based organisation, founded in 1892 and open both men and women of "honorable character, illustrious and honorable family, colonial or noble, of the Aryan race."[1] The society described itself as existing to "promote social virtues, to reprobate fashionable vices and follies," and, more specifically, to act as a private library for genealogical and biographical records of the families of members.[2]
