The Order of the Golden and Rosy Cross (German: Orden der Gold- und Rosenkreuzer; Latin: Societas Roseæ et Aureæ Crucis) was a German fraternal order, organised by Hermann Fichtuld in the mid-eighteenth century, with membership exclusive to Master Masons in good standing. The order was dedicated to the study of Rosicrucianism and alchemy.

Structure

The order provided for nine degrees, five open to outer members of the Order of the Golden Cross, and four to an inner circle, fully initiated into the Order of the Golden and Rosy Cross.
