Yì Jīng (I Ching; Chinese: 易经, "Classic of Changes", Book of Changes) is one of the oldest of the Chinese classic texts, detailing a divination system based on 64 hexagrams (guà; 卦), said to have been composed by Fú Xī (Fu Hsi; Chinese: 伏羲), first of the Three Sovereigns (sānhuáng, 三皇) of ancient China.
